I object to the loss of the STC ground to developers. We will lose green spaces and local sports facilities for local people.
I fear the loss of landscape and old trees. This is Metropolitan Old Land and part of the Green Chain, we need to keep this for its ecological and recreational value.
The local infrastructure will not cope with yet more housing - there is already a strain on doctors, dentists, hospitals, roads and train services. We have a local school where teachers need parking so they can serve the community.
There will be months of disruption to houses and gardens backing on to the STC ground - dust, noise etc. The roads nearby will be disrupted with large lorries, diggers etc. Green Lane will have to cope with a new lay out.
This is not needed in the area, we need to keep our open spaces as we will never get them back. I totally object to this proposal.
