I object in the strongest terms to the proposed development at STC Sports Ground.
Green Lane is already heavily congested, and this plan would add hundreds more vehicles to a road that cannot safely support them. With the GB10 development already approved at the end of Green Lane, this proposal would compound traffic chaos, increase pollution, and pose serious risks to residents.
Removing open green space and replacing it with dense housing and more car traffic will worsen air quality and eliminate a valuable buffer against noise and pollution. This loss will be felt immediately by those living nearby and will have lasting health impacts.
This site is protected Metropolitan Open Land and part of the South East London Green Chain. It must not be sacrificed for unsustainable, car-dependent housing.
This development would reduce quality of life and endanger the wellbeing of the local area. It must be refused.
