I think the proposal to build 205 homes on the STC Sports Ground is completely wrong. It will destroy green space which is Metropolitan Open Land and is also a valuable resource for biodiversity. It will cause disruption whilst under construction and take away a useful community resource for sports and social activities. Such a development will result in more pressure on local facilities such as schools and doctors surgeries and increase traffic on roads that are already busy. This proposal should not be allowed to proceed.
