I object to the proposal to build on STC Metropolitan/Green Belt land. This is a well used sports and social club the serves not just the local community but beyond. The plans are totally out of keeping (unsympathetic) to the local surroundings and local amenities such as nurseries, schools, doctors and dentists already have waiting lists and cannot accommodate additional spaces for over 200 homes (likely 400 people). In addition, trains are already over crowded and water utility services and roads having difficulty coping with current demand.
i also question just how affordable these properties will be when there will need to be a service charge for the proposed open land to be maintained / kept safe.
this is not ‘grey land’ that is barely used with schools having to close due to lack of numbers (the mayors speech), this is a vibrant and close knit community that values all our green spaces.
