This proposal to convert these grounds into housing offers no meaningful benefit to the local area. It’s disappointing to see yet another sports and recreation space lost to development, particularly when such spaces play a vital role in promoting community wellbeing. The additional noise and traffic generated will significantly alter the character of the neighbourhood and have a negative impact on local residents’ quality of life.
