As a new member of the community moving into the area in the past few weeks, it has been devastating to hear these plans and the idea to take away green space which is commonly used by the community.
There has been no thought about how stretched the local infrastructure is already, with schools, NHS and the the rail services and roads already struggling.
The noise disruption not only over the next 4 years but with increased traffic and hundreds more residents will make the area extremely unpleasant to live in.
This alongside the idea to put one entrance/exit road on an incredibly busy part of Green Lane where only a few weeks ago there was a near fatal crash directly where that entrance will be seems ill thought out and dangerous. The road is already hell to pull out and in to drive ways safely already so that many more residents will make it hell and will be the cause of many serious accidents.
This feels like a terribly planned attempt to sell off green spaces which are vital for communities and the environment and to make plans to squeeze in as many homes and people together to make the community even more stretched and uncomfortable all in the name of making money.
I am completely against these plans that will make life in the area hell not only during building stages but also when all of our local infrastructure is even more oversubscribed to the point that it becomes fully broken.
