Dear Sirs
I totally and wholeheartedly object to the STC proposed plans for redevelopment.
The area is a lovely space with playing fields. It is good for mental health seeing/overlooking the green fields and having a little breathing space in our cram packed environment. It is also a haven for wildlife where birds and foxes etc can live in peace.
To build would totally upset the community and the balance of the area. This land was protected. I think it wrong to build here. There are other spaces in Greenwich which I consider more suitable. E.g nr Roots for Life, Butterfly Lane etc.
Studies have proved that overcrowding leads to social decline.
The local infrastructure doctors and transport links are very busy indeed and it would push them to breaking point.
Personally I feel our quality of life would suffer in many ways and from more traffic to the area and loss of green space.
The disruption, noise, dust etc would be something we would have to endure for a long time.
Please consider an alternative plan.
