The existing Sports Club is a hub for the local community and losing these facilities and green space would be detrimental to the area.
Year-on-year there has been an increase in organised activities at this facility for children and women's sports, so it would be demonstrative of Local Authority priorities if they allowed this to be replaced for a short-term payout from a developer.
