I strongly oppose the plan to build homes in the STC Center. Such a development would be entirely inappropriate for this location and highly disruptive to the surrounding community. The area is not suited for additional residential housing due to existing traffic levels, limited infrastructure, and the impact it would have on current land use.
Introducing homes here would bring increased congestion, noise, and pressure on local services that are already under strain. It would also fundamentally change the character of the area, creating unnecessary conflict between new residential developments and existing community use.
This proposal shows a disregard for the needs and routines of those who live nearby. The disruption during construction alone would be significant—and the long-term consequences would be even greater. This is not a suitable place for housing, and I urge decision-makers to reconsider
