I strongly object to this proposal. While I’m not opposed to new housing in principle, this development would cause irreversible harm to protected green space and bring years of disruption to our community. The South East London Green Chain exists for a reason — to protect our environment, wellbeing, and local character. This plan ignores infrastructure strain, lacks genuine community benefit, and has been pushed forward without meaningful consultation. It prioritises short-term profit over long-term sustainability and quality of life for existing residents.
