I live on Green Lane and I am incredibly angry over the idea of this local green space being turned into apartments.
Footscray Road and Green Lane is already becoming unbearable due to the development of the GB10 Sports Ground, already causing issues with traffic, parking and construction. With the bridge section on Green Lane recently being turned into single file, the disturbance to our quality of life is unthinkable if this proposal goes ahead!
The proposed site is MOL land, it must be protected. I can see absolutely no reason why its use could or should be changed! This is a charming residential area on Green Chain land. New builds should not be permitted here.
